Lynchburg Photo Journal

10 days. 4 planes. 1 wedding. More sweet memories than I can count.
So here’s just a little recap of the highlights.

I enjoyed a time of rest and refreshment in the colors of fall, cool October air, and sweet talks with family, all back dropped by a mountain view.
I had the honor of standing as a bridesmaid for my gorgeous cousin and role model Lindsay on her wedding day!  Despite rain, her smile shined bright!

I explored Liberty University’s campus, met some professors, and visited classes.  Louie Giglio’s teaching at convocation was encouraging and speaking with my academic advisor was so refreshing.  Yes, I’m switching majors!    #GoFlames

A fantastic fall trip!

From the rain in Roanoke to the peaceful quiet of Forest and from the hustle & bustle of Lynchburg to the quaint pace of Bedford I heard one consistent message from God: “Rely on me.”
My perspective must always focus back to God,
My trust must remain balanced in God,
My prayer must be constant to God,
My work must be done unto God

“The plans of the heart belong to man,
but the answer of the tongue is form the Lord.
All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes,
but the Lord weighs the spirit,
Commit your work to the Lord,
and your plans will be established.”
Proverbs 16:1-3
I love and give out of my love for God,
I rejoice because my strength is of God,
I’m confident in God,
Everything I do is for the Glory of God.

“Let’s sing Frozen songs!” Isabella (2)
I wish I could truly capture Andrew’s deep blue eyes and gentle smile,
Isabella’s gasps for joy,
Eliana’s giggle,
and Josiah’s hugs.
“Ellie can I take your picture?”
“No thanks, maybe tomorrow”
Eliana (4)
“You have to fly home to your family?  Oh.. since you were staying with us, I just thought you were an orphan…” Josiah (5)

“You can give without loving, but you cannot love without giving.”
– Amy Carmichael

“Nothing of eternal significance has ever been accomplished apart from prayer.”
– Dr. Jerry Falwell

In times of trial & times of peace,
Lord abide with me.
In the quiet of my home and & silence of my sleep,
Lord abide with me.
In every spoken word, in everything I see,
Lord abide with me.
When I travel in sky or sea,
Lord abide with me.
When I walk miles aimlessly & when I stand at peace,
Lord abide with me.
Wherever I am,
Lord abide with me.
